Montana Avenue has always been a place where people slow down — to grab a coffee, browse a boutique, meet a friend for dinner, or walk their dog beneath the trees. Over time, it has become something rare on the Westside: a small-town main street with a creative spirit and a deeply invested community behind it.

The Montana Avenue Merchants Association exists to protect that character and help the street flourish. We represent the store owners, service providers, restaurateurs, and wellness professionals who bring the Avenue to life every day. Our work centers around making Montana Avenue welcoming, walkable, safe, and connected.

We collaborate with City partners, support local businesses, organize beloved community events, and advocate for improvements that strengthen the district. From holiday lights to seasonal activations to merchant communication, we’re here to make sure the Avenue continues to serve the people who love it most.

Above all, we believe that a strong commercial street strengthens the entire neighborhood. When our businesses thrive, the community thrives — and Montana Avenue remains the heart of North-of-Montana living.
